CHAPTER 5

Naughty DOGS!

Try as you may, you can never really put that inner cheeky monkey to bed! It’s there in all our hounds – patiently waiting for the opportune moment to make another appearance. You know the score: your next-door neighbours come to visit and Fido decides to jump all over the furniture and welcome them in his own ‘special’ way.

But that’s what makes our pooches so adorable. Isn’t it?

CHAPTER 6

Absolutely BARKING

Our clever tail-waggers can sniff out criminals, rescue climbers stranded on mountains, and can even be trained to lead the visually impaired. But they can be as crazy as the day is long. anything from the bow-wow next door, the sound of the doorbell and the postman delivering the mail, to that laser beam pen that we all thought would be a good idea, a tiny fly on the window and the mere whisper of the word ‘park’, can trigger a response in our dogs like no other.

Sometimes there’s no other explanation – they’re just absolutely barking!
